When a vial washer starts chipping necks or missing vials, the cause is usually one worn finger or a blocked needle, not the whole machine. At Vedax Pharmamach in Ahmedabad, we make SS 316L vial washing fingers, finger assemblies and washing needles to match your sample, drawing or machine model, so your line gets back to running without waiting for an OEM part.
We are a vial washing parts manufacturer based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. We supply pharmaceutical vial washing parts to injectable, ophthalmic and ampoule lines across India. Every part is machined in-house and checked before dispatch.
A finger assembly is the complete holding unit: the fingers, pivots, springs and body. A finger cassette carries a row of these assemblies on the machine. We make vial holding finger assemblies and vial washing machine finger cassettes to fit your existing layout, with calibrated springs so grip force stays even from the first station to the last.
The washing needle goes into the vial and delivers water, air or WFI. We make SS 316 vial washing needles and diving spray needles, including needles for ampoule washing. Bore and concentricity are held to ±0.02 mm, and internal surfaces are electropolished so water flows cleanly and nothing collects inside.
For multijet washers, we make the fingers, needles and manifolds that work together: multi jet vial washer fingers for India-based plants, matching needle sets and rotary water manifolds. If you send the machine model and station count, we confirm what is needed for the full set.
| Machine type | Parts we make |
|---|---|
| Rotary vial washing machine | Finger assemblies, finger cassettes, diving needles, water manifolds |
| Linear vial washing machine | Holding fingers, needles, guides and change parts |
| External vial washing machine | Gripper fingers, spray nozzles and holding parts |
| High-speed vial washing lines | Wear-prone fingers and needles, supplied as matched sets |
We do not sell a one-size-fits-all part. Each vial washing machine change part is made to your vial size, neck diameter and machine make, so it fits without field modification.
Sterile vial washing parts touch glass and water that will later go into injectable products. That is why material and finish matter.
| Parameter | What we use |
|---|---|
| Metal | AISI SS 316L (EN 1.4404) with 3.1 material test certificate |
| Soft-contact inlays | Medical-grade PEEK or silicone [confirm grades and certificates] |
| Surface finish | Internal and product-contact surfaces electropolished to Ra ≤ 0.25 µm; external Ra ≤ 0.4 µm |
| Dimensional accuracy | ±0.01 mm on CNC-machined parts for drop-in fit |
| Documentation | FAT dossier and DQ/IQ/OQ support on request |

We supply injectable vial washing spare parts to sterile injectable manufacturers, and ophthalmic and ampoule lines that use the same washing stations. If your plant runs a rotary or linear washer and you need spares fast, we are a practical alternative to waiting for imported OEM parts.
Every vial washing finger, finger assembly and washing needle we make follows the same specification: SS 316L body, electropolished contact surfaces and ±0.01 mm machining. Here is what that means for your line.
Fingers, needles and bodies are made from AISI SS 316L (EN 1.4404). Where the part touches glass, we use medical-grade PEEK or silicone inlays.
Internal bores and product-contact surfaces are electropolished to Ra ≤ 0.25 µm. External surfaces are finished to Ra ≤ 0.4 µm.
Parts are CNC machined to ±0.01 mm, so replacement fingers and needles fit your machine without field rework.
We supply a FAT dossier and support for DQ, IQ and OQ. Material certificates are available for every order.
Send us your container samples, drawings, or machine model. Our engineering team delivers custom prototypes with rapid turnaround times.
